Hello Everyone!

Spring is finally here, hurray! This week marks the start of what we like to call our "Busy Season" although we won't notice much of a change until the weather gets substantially better. There is something about sunshine and seafood that appeals to us all! Regardless, we're launching the start of a rotation of a few grab-and-go items for a quick lunch or side dish and beginning with a popular one from last year - our Seafood Pasta Salad. It's our Featured Fish this week as well as our recipe, and we know you're going to love it!

That said - we have a lot of ideas for other options and we'll for sure be adding in our Poke Bowls... beyond that we're thinking a heat-and-eat crab mac and cheese? maybe a cold cooked salmon that's ready to eat with a cucumber dill dipping sauce? tuna salad wraps? What we'd really love to know is if there's something in particular that you might want to see... please let us know and we'll try to make it happen!

In the case this week things are coming together very nicely. Again, no Springer just yet, but we do have some beautiful fresh winter troll king out of Alaska and another fish expected to arrive on Friday. That will be sitting with our FAS Alaskan king and silver in the salmon department! For white fish we're looking at beautiful fresh halibut, fresh true cod, fresh rock cod, fresh petrale sole, fresh sablefish and fresh whole trout. For Friday we're expecting some long line Alaskan shortraker rockfish to appear, and that should be large, big flaked, beautiful filets to enjoy. (Fish tacos!) For Hawaiian fish this week we're again going with sashimi ahi tuna and fresh swordfish - the sword will be here sometime Thursday afternoon, but we do have tuna right this moment. :) There's plenty of fresh local shellfish (clams and mussels!) and our oyster list is looking like : Kumamoto, Shigoku, Blue Pool and Kennedy Creek Smalls and Extra Smalls. Lots of prawns, scallops and calamari, as well as plenty of salmon burgers, cod burgers and crab cakes. Smoked fishes are looking mighty fine, and we have some new color selections in the t-shirt and hoody department. Come see us!
~Kira
