Anago Sauce

Anago Sauce ~Perfect for garnishing seared or raw ahi tuna! ingredients
  • 6T soy sauce
  • 4T mirin
  • 2T brown sugar
  • dash rice wine vinegar
~Combine all the ingredients in a small sauce pan and bring to a boil over high heat for about 2 minutes. Turn the heat down to medium high and let simmer for another 3-4 minutes or until the sauce has reduced a bit. When it cools completely the sauce will be slightly thickened, which is what we're going for! (This recipe comes from the happily named blog www.userealbutter.com .)
